You could run a marathon on the world's longest bridge and still not reach the other side.

The Qingdao Haiwan Bridge in China is 26.4 miles long and links the cities of Qingdao and Huangdao. The previous record-holder, Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana, is a full 3 miles shorter! This insanely long bridge took four years, 10,000 workers, and over $8 billion to build. When it opens later this year, the six lanes of the Qingdao Haiwan will serve an estimated 30,000 cars each day!
