A Chinese boy was born with ELEVEN extra fingers and toes

A chinese boy, Li Jianpeng, age 6, was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes – 7 extra fingers on his left hand, 8 on his right, and 8 toes on each of his feet! He recently endured five hours of surgery to have the extra digits removed. Medical staff believe his condition may have been caused by genetic mutation of problems during pregnancy. His parents had been advised to wait until the boy was older before he had surgery.
This is fortunate, because children at school had been calling him a “monster.” However, Li is most excited for his feet to fit into a normal pair of shoes!
